Giulia Faria

Originally from Queens, New York, Giulia acquired most of her training at the New York Theatre Ballet School and LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts. She went on to join New York Theatre Ballet in 2015. As a member of the company, she performed masterworks by legendary choreographers such as Merce Cunningham, José Limón, Jerome Robbins, Antony Tudor, and Frederick Ashton, as well as contemporary works by choreographers Pam Tanowitz, Gabrielle Lamb, and Richard Alston. She also performed title roles in story ballets Cinderella and The Firebird. Since leaving New York Theatre Ballet as a dancer, she served as Interim Artistic Director of the company for the Fall/Winter 2024 season and is currently dancing with Ellen Cornfield, Amanda Treiber, and Julian Donahue.
